It's another pleasant Gulf Coast winter day. Mostly sunny skies prevail, and--after a very chilly start--a mild afternoon. High 67 with a southeast breeze.
We'll add some clouds tonight. Low 48.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy and warmer, with a high in the low 70s.
The high pressure that kept us dry for the past few days will give up on us Wednesday. There's a 40% rain chance beginning Wednesday afternoon (I may have to bump that rain chance up a bit...we'll see). And we'll keep a 30% chance of showers in the forecast Thursday through Saturday. Highs in the low 70s Wednesday and Thursday, and upper 60s this weekend. Lows stay mostly in the 50s.
We're not looking for severe weather this week, we're just talking about it. This is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Florida. Here's a link to information: http://www.floridadisaster.org/swaw/

Our sky is bright today. Middle 90s will be common with not much relief at the beaches. Subtropical Storm Beryl is off the coast of South Carolina, drifting toward south Georgia.
