Alabama will likely see another bout of severe weather as a storm system moves across the state.
Weather forecasters are predicting heavy rain and strong winds Thursday. The system could produce flooding and tornadoes.
Preliminary assessments show that 10 tornadoes ripped through Alabama on Monday, killing two people and wiped out scores of homes and businesses in multiple counties. The fatalities were a 16-year-old girl and an elderly man.
The first tornado touched down in Tuscaloosa County at 2:42 a.m. That area was among the hardest hit in April when twisters killed about 250 people across the state.
