Alabama's governor has declared a state of emergency for all 67 counties because of severe weather that struck the state, killing two people.
Gov. Robert Bentley says the declaration authorizes the Alabama Emergency Management Agency and other state agencies to assist communities and make assessments of damage.
The governor's office says at least seven counties reported damage Monday, with the most extensive in Jefferson and Chilton counties.
The Jefferson County sheriff's department reports two deaths - a 16-year-old girl in Clay and an 82-year-old man in the Oak Grove community.
