Mardi Gras fun returns to downtown Mobile tonight with the Conde Cavaliers parade at 6:30. The parade comes at the end of what will be a rainy day for the Gulf Coast...and 80% chance during the afternoon with a little thunder here and there. High 70 with a brisk southeast breeze.
By parade time the chance of showers dimishes to 40%. We'll keep a 40% rain chance overnight and Saturday, and ease it back to 30% Sunday and 20% Monday. Highs stay near 70 through the weekend with low in the upper 50s.
Cooler, drier air moves into our neighborhood by the middle of next week.
