Now that the fog is gone, mostly cloudy skies prevail. High 72 with a 30% chance of showers near the coast and a 20% chance north of I-10.
The cold front that brought yesterday's rain stalled just offshore, and will change into a warm front that will lift northward. That means another pass through our neighborhood. It also means that warm temperatures and showers remain in the forecast for the next few days.
Rain chances increase to 50% tonight and 60% Friday. At parade time in downtown Mobile, the chance of scattered showers will have dipped a bit to 40%.
We'll keep a 40% chance of showers in the forecast for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. And we'll keep the warm temperatures, too, with highs each day in the low 70s and lows in the upper 50s.
