Madison Knight is spending the day cleaning up after damage left behind by Tropical Storm Lee. Early Sunday morning, strong winds, and possibly a tornado, whipped through his Fowl River neighborhood in Mobile County. He says the wind woke him up around 1:00 A.M.
The wind knocked down several large pecan trees. One fell on his daughter's mobile home. She was inside along with her husband and two daughters. Amazingly, all made it out without getting hurt. The mobile home has two bedrooms, one at each end. Mom, dad, and baby were inside one of the bedrooms, and older daughters was on the other end of the mobile home. The tree fell right in the middle.
Madison Knight is thankful his family is okay, and thankful for the neighbors who are helping him clean up. He says he doesn't even know some of the men who are pitching in to help.
