»  Comments | Post a Comment

Entergy reported more than 18,000 outages - more than half of those in the Jefferson Parish-New Orleans area. Thousands more were scattered around Louisiana, along with more than 800 Entergy customers in Mississippi.

Cleco Corp. reported more than 3,500 Louisiana customers without power as of Saturday afternoon. Crews were working to restore power but officials cautioned that continued rough weather from Lee could hamper repair efforts and cause other outages. At one point the number of customers without power because of Lee was more than 37,000.
