Baldwin County Flooding

Heavy rain caused problems in the Belforest Community.
The Austin Park Subdivision off County Road 54 was underwater. Streets looked like rivers and front yards became ponds. Several roads were impassible, causing a few problems for local drivers.
Runoff from new construction sites in the subdivision turned the flood waters murky brown. People living in Belforest say they're concerned about the lack of adequate drainage in new developments.
"As more and more houses are being built, the more and more the water's got to be displaced somewhere," said John Naef. "And I'd be upset."
Thankfully, mother nature left much of Baldwin County alone. Although the county was under a flash flood warning for much of the morning, only minor flooding was reported.
