Alabama football coach Nick Saban is taking home a nice check after leading the Tide to their 14th National Championship. Saban will take home a $400,000 dollar bonus from the University of Alabama.
Add that to his current salary and it makes him the highest paid coach in college football, bringing home $5.2 million this season. It's a staggering number but many say it's worth it.
"I really think he's worth it. He's also responsible for one of LSU's championships, so give the man his worth," said Brooke Collins.
"I think if he's going to keep winning championships, it worth it, but if he falls off for 4 to 5 years, your going to have to bring it down a little bit," said Kyle Schafer.
"He won the BCS Championship, so I would say it's warranted. I would say whoever wins the BCS would be warranted to be the top paid coach," said Drew Landry.
Football alone brought in $45.2 million dollars for Alabama over the course of the year.
