Numerous media outlets in Arkansas and Alabama are reporting tonight, Auburn's Gus Malzahn has accepted the Arkansas State job. Malzahn, a native of Arkansas, is reportedly getting a $750,000 salary and other benefits. A press conference will be held tomorrow to introduce the Auburn Offensive Coordinator as State's new coach.
Arkansas State will play Northern Illinois in the Go Daddy Dot Com Bowl in Mobile on January 8th, 2012. Auburn will play Virginia in the Chick-fil-A Bowl New Year's Eve in Atlanta.
