Martino Brock scored 16 points and three
others posted double figures as South Alabama easily beat Spring
Hill 82-53 on Thursday night.
Tim Williams added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Jaguars
(3-1), playing their first home game of the season. Also, Bryan
Sherrer had 11 points and Gary Redus 10 as the Jaguars had 10
players to score.
In women's play, the University of South Alabama used a huge second half explosion Thursday evening to cruise to a 100-44 victory over cross-town rival Spring Hill at the Mitchell Center. In the second period, USA out-scored the Lady Badgers 61-21 en route to the 56-point victory.
The game marked the first time South Alabama has recorded 100 points in a game since doing so against Texas-Pan American back on Jan. 12, 1995 - a 100-60 win.
