Prior to the start of their five-game series with the Montgomery Biscuits at Hank Aaron Stadium, the Mobile BayBears and Arizona Diamondbacks have made the following roster moves. RHP Bryan Augenstein has been promoted to the Diamondbacks and will make his major league debut in Cincinnati on Wednesday against the Reds. Augenstein made 6 starts for the BayBears this year and was 5-0 with a 0.78 ERA in 34.2 innings while allowing just 3 runs on 17 hits. He's the third BayBear to be promoted straight to Arizona from Mobile, and the first since Justin Upton during the 2007 season. Taking his place on the BayBears' roster, RHP Wes Roemer has been promoted from Single-A Visalia. Roemer, a first-round draft choice in 2007, was 3-1 with Visalia this year while posting a 2.05 ERA in 6 starts. He was 7-12 with a 4.59 ERA for Visalia last season and will take Augenstein's spot in the rotation on Friday night.
