While South Alabama hasn't officially released its upcoming basketball schedule, the Univeristy of Florida has. The Gators will host USA in Gainesville December 22nd. Jaguar coach Ronnie Arrow told Randy Patrick the game was orginally scheduled to be played at neutral site, but it didn't get worked out, so the game will played on the Gators home court. The last meeting between the two schools was in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in 2006. The Gators won by 26 and went on to win the 2006 national championship.
