NEW YORK (AP) - Alex Rodriguez has admitted using
performance-enhancing drugs.
The New York Yankees star responded to Sports Illustrated's
report that he tested positive for steroids in 2003 by recording an
interview Monday with ESPN.
"I did take a banned substance. For that I'm very sorry and
deeply regretful," he said.
