CBS To Televise Bama Ole Miss Game

The Southeastern Conference announced today that CBS will televise the Alabama-Ole Miss football game to a national audience beginning at 2:30 p.m. (CDT) from Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, October 18.

Alabama and Ole Miss will be meeting for the 56th time with Alabama holding a 44-9-2 lead in the series that began in 1894. Alabama has won the last four meetings, including a 27-24 victory last year in Oxford. The two teams have met every year since 1992.

Other SEC games to be televised on Saturday, Oct. 18 include Vanderbilt at Georgia (11:30 a.m. CDT on Raycom Sports OR 7:00 p.m. CDT on ESPN), LSU at South Carolina (11:30 a.m. CDT on Raycom Sports OR 7:00 p.m. CDT on ESPN) and Arkansas at Kentucky (6:00 p.m. CDT on ESPNU).

The Vanderbilt-Georgia and LSU-South Carolina games are being held in the six day selection process and that decision could be made over the weekend.
