The prospect of precipitation cancels three afternoon parades in Mobile this Saturday. Mobile Police sent an e-mail this morning announcing the cancellation of these events today.
Parades affected include the Floral Parade, Knights of Mobile and the Order of Angels.
The Order of Angels Parade and Knights of Mobile Parade will follow the Le Krewe de Bienville Parade on Sunday afternoon.
Tonight's Mystics of Time parade has also been cancelled. It has been rescheduled for Monday night.
Officials in Baldwin County tell News 5 that the Mystics of Pleasure parade in Orange Beach has been postponed. They tell us this is the first time in a decade they have had to push the parade back due to weather. The Mystics will roll following the Orange Beach parade on Fat Tuesday. That parade starts at 2.
The Krewe of Les Beau Geste parade in Foley has also been canceled due to weather. Officials tell us that parade will not be rescheduled.
The Shadow Barons parade in Daphne has been postponed. They will now hit the streets Sunday at 4pm
