The lifting of swimming advisories means its back to the beach and businesses on Dauphin Island.
News Five saw about two dozen people on the beach there Friday afternoon.
Some were from out of town and ready for a good vacation.
When asked if their children were going in the water, Billie Watson of Williamsburg, Kentucky said, "Oh yeah, yeah. They love it. They love the water."
Bob Ball from Williamsburg said, "Yeah. No fear, no fear."
Cara Barnhart from Huntsville let her children go into the water, too.
She said, "I love the beach, my girls love the beach, and they need to see it."
More people in the water may mean more people on the beach and more people in stores, like the Treasure Trove gift shop.
Owner Lynn Wickman said, "I can honestly say we're seventy to eight percent off (our regular business)."
But Wickman said she has seen more customers in the last ten days.
She said, "I think it has a lot to do with capping that well. I think the perception has improved."
