One of the newer parading societies kicks off the Mardi Gras season in downtown Mobile. The Bayport Parading society rolled through Mobile this afternoon, 1/30/10. The Conde Cavaliers had to cancel last night because of rain. Bayport is unique among Mobile's different Mardi Gras groups. They consist primarily of commercial businesses.
