The 2010 Mardi Gras season in Mobile came to an end with the Order of Myths Parade.
It also ended another season of extra work for Mobile Police.
Officer Christopher Levy with the Mobile Police Department said, "Most of our arrests have been misdemeanor arrests, the result of disorderly conduct. There have been a few drug arrests."
As far as crowds compared to past years, police said, overall, its too early to tell.
Levy said, "This year, the weather situation has been a little crazy. We've had to move some parades around. But the two biggest days, today and Joe Cain Day, the weather has been absolutely beautiful, so we've gotten pretty good crowds for both those days."
The first float of the last parade of the season showed Folly chasing Death around what the Order of Myths call the Broken Column of Life.
And the parade attracted a lot of people after a long day.
Buddy Meservey of Mobile said he had been out since 10am Tuesday.
When asked if he was tired, Meservey said, "A little bit."
Fred Smith came to Mobile from Detroit, Michigan.
When asked if he had ever seen Mardi Gras, Smith said, "Yeah, just about every year me and my cousin, we'll come down here."
Matt Baise said he just moved to Mobile from Ottawa, Canada.
He said, "Oh, its great down here, its nice. People are pretty nice, it's not too bad. The weather is nice."
Next year, Fat Tuesday is March 8.
