Two missing Spring Breakers on vacation in Trinidad have been found and we've learned that one of the girls grew up in Mobile.
Kimberly Hays and Mobile native Sophia Roy were found safe and sound Thursday evening. The two were supposed to return to Brown University in Rhode Island on Monday and never showed up.
The U.S. State Department launched an international manhunt for the girls. They were found on Thursday night. According to the local officials, they were neither kidnapped nor harmed.
Caribbean officials believe no foul play was involved. Brown University's campus newspaper is reporting that one of the girls might have been drugged.
The State Department warns Americans to be careful if they chose to travel to the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. The warning reads "violent crimes, including assault, kidnapping for ransom, sexual assault and murder have involved foreign residents and tourists, including U.S. citizens."
