Sheriff's Office Investigating Double Shooting

Sheriff’s investigators are on scene of a double shooting that took place in the 2500 block of Truman Ave. Deputies received calls of a shots fired disturbance in the area.

When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered two unidentified black males had been shot in front of an apartment. One victim was located inside of a vehicle in the front yard. The other ran from the scene and was found a few streets over. Both victims suffered an unknown number of gunshot wounds. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Investigators had at least one person detained for questioning and were also interviewing several witnesses at the scene.
