»  Comments | Post a Comment

The next public meeting on this is Tuesday night from 6pm to 9pm in Gulf Shores at the Kaiser Realty Meeting Facility.  This is a look at how officials plan on spending $57 million dollars on mostly environmental restoration projects.  In Alabama there are two projects planned so far.  One concerns dune restoration in Baldwin County and the other will build marshland around Portersville Bay in Mobile County.

This is just the first of many phases of this restoration effort.  Other restorations projects will be proposed and implemented in the coming years.
