18-Wheeler Overturns, Catches On Fire

EVERGREEN, Alabama --

Southbound I-65 is closed at mile marker 93 in Evergreen because of a fiery wreck.

State Troopers tell News 5 an 18-wheeler overturned around 6:00 p.m, between mile marker 89-90. Traffic is being diverted off I-65 at the Evergreen Exit.

News 5 viewer Al Copeland is caught in the backup. He told his wife the driver was able to kick open the door of his rig and get out safely.

Copeland also says I-65 was foggy at the time of the wreck.
