Baldwin Co. School Board Expands 'Digital Renaissance.'

All High Schoolers will get laptops next year

»  Comments | Post a Comment

At the urging of Superintendent Dr. Alan Lee, the school board voted to expand the 'Digital Renaissance' program to include all high school students.

It means all high schoolers in Baldwin County will be equipped with Macbook laptop computers, just like their colleagues at Baldwin Co. High School have had since the start of the current school year.

Administrators say they've seen a remarkable change in student attitude as a result of using Macbooks instead of textbooks.

The county-wide program should be in effect by August.
