News 5's Blake Brown reports that the city council did not move forward with Prichard's proposed teen curfew during a meeting on Thursday night.

The curfew will be brought up next Thursday again in front of the city council.

Councilman Troy Ephriam had hoped the curfew would pass during Thursday night's meeting. Ephriam was hoping the majority of council members would approve the new curfew, but not everyone was ready to vote.

There will be a public hearing at the AJ Cooper Municipal Complex in Prichard next week.
