There was a knock at the door of this Spanish Fort home around midnight. "I said who is it? And he said, 'Is Tyson here?' and I said yeah." What happened next, Ruby Hinton will never forget. "I heard a gun. Pow, pow, three or four times. So I ran and hid over there cause I didn't know what was going on." The house was full of people, "I just heard shots and got in the closet," says Charnell Lyons. The gunmen were after one thing. "Tyson got shot in his chest and back here," says Hinton. In what investigators call a retaliation shooting, Tyson Goodman was shot at least twice. "I guess they came to pay him back cause he shot one or two of the dudes, Tyson did," says Hinton. When the shooting stopped, witnesses say at least three people ran to a car waiting at a nearby intersection. But their crime spree wasn't over yet. Their next stop, according to authorities, the Circle K convenience store in Loxley where this surveillance video shows three armed men, robbing the cashier at gunpoint. A traffic stop shortly after the robbery, led to the arrest of Cleve Cunningham III, Henry Wallace, Ernest Nicholson and a 14 year old girl. Authorities arrested Kristen Daniels and Jeremy Brown late Wednesday afternoon in Mobile. "I've never been through no shootings or anything," says Lyons. For family members, the arrests are a relief. "I thought maybe they were going to come over there and try to shoot me but I caught myself hiding because i didn't know what was up," says Hinton. This is the second home invasion shooting in Baldwin County in recent weeks. Major Anthony Lowery says the common denominator in both shootings are drugs.
