About 54-thousand of the Mobile-Pensacola areas 540-thousand television households will miss tonight's big game.
Those 54-thousand households- 10 percent of News 5 viewers- don't subscribe to cable or satellite and are unable to get ESPN.
Many were forced to watch the BCS championship at local restaurants and sports bars.
ESPN has an exclusive, four-year 125 million dollar contract to carry all BCS games.
