Interim Superintendent Ready For New Year

Martha Peek Starts Interim Position

»  Comments | Post a Comment

On Monday News 5 caught up with Mobile County Public School System's interim superintendent, Martha Peek.

Peek says she is ready for the 20-12 school year and doesn't plan on making any changes to what's already in place.

She moved into the interim position after Dr. Roy Nichols left in December.

Martha Peek is no stranger to the school system. She has filled several positions with mobile schools over the last 40 years.

Peek says she has no interest in being superintendent on a permanent basis. She will, however, serve as the interim replacement until a new superintendent is hired.
