Four Hurlburt Field Airmen Die in U-28A crash.

Four Hulrburt Field Airmen were killed Saturday when their plane went down after returning from a mission supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Captain Ryan Hall, Captain Nicholas Whitlock, 1st Lt. Justin Wilkens and Senior Airman Julian Scholten died when their U-28A crashed near Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti in the Horn of Africa.

All the men had extensive military experience.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The bodies of the Airmen will be flown to Dover, Delaware in a few days.

Hurlburt Field will hold a memorial service for the fallen heroes later this week.
