Officer Steven Green Buried in Theodore

»  Comments | Post a Comment

On Wednesday afternoon, a white hearse carrying the body of Mobile Police Officer Steven Green took him to his final resting place at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Theodore.

Hundreds visited the cemetary to salute their fallen brother. A bagpiper's sad song led the procession to the burial site. The American flag that was draped over the casket was eventually folded and handed to Officer Green's wife as a gesture of respect.

Judging from the turnout, and the emotion of the crowd, this one man had a major impact on his community.

And with a couple of prayers, a 21-Gun Salute, and the release of three white doves, the world said goodbye to Steven Green. The pastor encouraged everyone to have faith in God's plan.
