»  Comments | Post a Comment

Mobile Fire and Rescue worked to extinguish a blaze at the Goodwill located at Airport Blvd.

The fire started around 9:40 this morning.

Goodwill operations manager, John McCain, says the shed housed items that were ready to be recycled.

Clothes, toys, and lots of cardboard boxes helped fuel the blaze, says Steve Huffman with Mobile Fire. Plumes of smoke could be seen by drivers for miles.

Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire.
