The Mobile police officer who was shot during a deadly standoff with the man who killed another officer is back at work.

Officer Mark Johnson's arm was grazed by a bullet during Friday's standoff. He was treated and released from the hospital that night. Johnson returned to work this morning.

Police are still investigating the incident that lead to the standoff.

Lawrence Wallace, Jr., an arson and robbery suspect, stabbed Officer Steven Green in the neck in the sally port of Mobile Metro Jail.

Wallace then stole Green's patrol car and abandoned it on Daytona Drive, where he crawled under a house and exchanged gunfire with SWAT team members. The standoff ended when officers shot Wallace.
