A flag that flew over Ground Zero after 9/11 is on its way to Mobile as a tribute to fallen police officer Steven Green.

The U.S. Honor Flag is flown around the country to services for officers killed in the line of duty and soldiers who pay the ultimate sacrifice.

A flight carrying the honor flag landed at Pensacola International Airport about 12:30. The video above is from the ceremony in Pensacola.

The flag will be brought to Mobile Police Headquarters for a ceremony this afternoon.

Officer Green was stabbed in the neck Friday afternoon by Lawrence Wallace, Jr. Wallace was later shot and killed by SWAT team members during a standoff.
