Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have made three arrests, after they say military explosives were stolen from a military base.
On January 19, 2012, Dale Johnson was severely injured when one of the explosives exploded on his property in Gulfport.
Johnson told ATF agents he was cutting the bomb open for scrap metal.
Two of the suspects, Jimmy and Jack Wilson, are Johnson's uncles.
The third suspect, David Bangs, is a family friend.
Jimmy Wilson and David Bangs were in federal court on Wednesday and charged with receipt or possession of an unregistered firearm.
