Missing Man Reunites With Family

Rufus Blair Found Alive

An Escambia County, Alabama man is back home with his family after he went missing early Tuesday morning from his home in Brewton.

Rufus Blair, 77, left his home in his car but never returned. His vehicle was found Wednesday in Castleberry on East Railroad Street, about 10 miles away.

On Thursday morning about 10:30am volunteers found Blair in a wooded area near a creek. He was in good condition but taken to a hospital in Brewton to be examined.

His wife tells News 5's Blake Brown that Blair occasionally suffers memory lost but nothing like this has happened before. His family is happy Rufus Blair is finally back home.
