Family and friends will gather this weekend to pay their respects to a missing fisherman.
Kenneth Boyer, a long time resident of the Fowl River community went missing in late August when the fishing boat he was on sank off Dauphin Island.
Two other fishermen were on the boat with Boyer. One was wearing a life jacket and was the only one found alive. The other fisherman's body was found by a good samaritan, but Boyer's remains were never found.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic church on Dauphin Island Parkway.
The service will begin at 11am.
