An angry gulf pounded the west end of dauphin island this morning.
Crews immediately began clearing the west end beach preparing for flooding and anything else this storm might throw their way. Hurricane reentry passes have kept town hall busy. The passes are needed for residents to access dauphin island in the event roads close.
Town officials are also worried about the ponding of water in places.
