Flotilla Captain Retires

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The man who lead the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla through one of the most heartbreaking search and recovery operations handed over the reigns today.

Paul Stewart retired after four years as captain of the flotilla.

Stewart's tenure included the search for four children thrown off the Dauphin Island Bridge in January 2008.

Captain Jay Howard officially took over the flotilla during a ceremony at the Mobile County Sheriff's Office this morning.
