State Representative Joe Faust wants to build an armed forces museum in North Baldwin County.

Faust says building the war museum at Bicentennial Park on Highway 225 near Stockton would be an ideal location. The area is rich in military history and already has several military attractions including Historic Blakeley Park, Fort Mims and Saluda Hill Cemetery.

Faust says building the armed forces museum at Bicentennial Park would be a perfect tie-in to the nearby state veterans cemetery currently under construction.

Faust says he'll introduce legislation on building the war museum at the next legislative session.
