Seat belts save lives. That's why State Troopers are teaming up with law enforcememt officers around Alabama to strictly enforce the state’s seat belt and child restraint laws.

Alabama is one of twenty-one states with a primary seat belt law. Law enforcement officers are allowed to issue tickets solely for failure to buckle up. Everyone in the front seat must wear a seat belt at all times.

The Click It or Ticket campaign runs May 23-June 5.
