The entire state is experiencing large wildfire outbreaks, and the Alabama Forestry Commission is now documenting these burns on their website.

You can sort through the information by date or by which county you are interested in learning more about. They give you details on an area starting from today and going back all the way to the beginning of the year.
As of Tuesday afternoon the website states that there are fourteen active wildfires. Half of those are in our viewing area, including two in Mobile County, two in Baldwin County, and three in Washington County.

The Governor's Drought Emergency Declaration was also posted on the website Tuesday.
