If you're a burglary victim in Mobile County, sheriff's deputies might have some of your stolen goods.
Deputies arrested a man Wednesday night they said stole about $10,000 worth of merchandise.
And, that might be just the beginning.
It looked like a treasure chest.
The first things you notice are guns, rifles, and Samurai swords.
Deputies said they arrested Wilton Randy Jordan after searching a home in the 12000 block of Mason Ferry Road.
Corporal Chris McLean with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office said, "There was over $10-thousand dollars worth of stolen property that was recovered."
They said Jordan was breaking into homes in north Mobile over the month of July.
McLean said, "In each aspect, it was forced entry, and the residents were not there at the time of the burglary. In some cases, the victims had only been gone for a few minutes."
And look at what deputies have recovered.
McLean said, "The main things he was looking for were money, jewelry, and weapons."
Why guns and jewelry?
McLean said, "Those items are easy and quick to get rid of. A lot of victims don't have their serial numbers placed on your weapons, or they don't carry the serial numbers on the weapons."
News Five went to the home on Mason Ferry Road Thursday afternoon, and was told by a man in a maroon truck to leave.
Jail records show Jordan is out on bond after being charged with five counts of burglary.
But, McLean said, "He's suspected in at least 30 additional burglaries in that area."
And, if people think some of the stolen loot is theirs, McLean said, "If they will contact the sheriffs office, and give us their case number, we'll have the detective call them back."
