Mobile Fire-rescue battled a fire Sunday night at a vacant house.
The single story, wood frame house is located at 5618 Jackson Road. When firefighters arrived, they reported heavy fire and smoke coming from house.

Investigators determined the house was vacant and left unsecured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $50 thousand.
