The winter storm that dumped heavy snow and ice across the south is making things miserable for Delta Airlines passengers.
Delta has canceled more than 1,450 flights the airlines, which is a fourth of its daily schedule, including flights from Mobile Regional to Atlanta and Memphis.
Delta will allow customers to rebook their flights without paying fees. But good luck trying to contact the airline.
When you vall the 1-800 customer service number (1-800-221-1212), you get a recording (click play to listen) that says "Thank you for contacting Delta Airlines. Due to extreme weather conditions, we are unable to answer your call at this time. Please call back later or go to Delta.com."
But the website is a dead end as well.
