The newest B.P. television commercial was launced in markets across the U-S today.

The commercial features Iris Cross, a 29-year B.P. veteran who reports on the company's Gulf Coast restoration and recovery 20 months after the oil spill.

In the commercial, Cross reminds viewers the oil giant will spend 20 billion dollars in economic and environmental recovery.

Cross also says the oil giant has promised to put aside 500 million dollars for scientific research of the Gulf ecosystem.

Beachfront businesses impacted by the oil spill are glad to see B.P. produce another nationally televised commercial. They say it's B.P.'s responsibility to restore tourism on the Gulf Coast.
