Former AL Football Star Arrested on Drug Charges

Former University of Alabama star and NFL player, Antwan Odom, was arrested on marijuana charges Thursday.

According to Anthony Lowery with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, Odom was arrested after a traffic stop on I-10.   Authorities say he smelled of marijuana and they found a gun and two blunts in his possession. 

Odom is an American football defensive end who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alabama. He has also played for the Cincinnati Bengals.  He is from Bayou La Batre.
