170 members of the 1165th Military Police Company are due to arrive home in Fairhope December 23rd and organizers are hoping for a big turnout for a homecoming celebration.
They're asking people to welcome the troops home by lining Veterans Drive and Section Street and Fairhope Avenue.
The 1165th will arrive at the Fairhope Civic Center for a welcome home ceremony at 10:00am.
The group has been serving in Afghanistan since January.
