Sing The National Anthem At The Senior Bowl

Have you ever wanted to sing the National Anthem in front of thousands of people at a sporting event? Well here is your chance.

Registration for the 2012 Senior Bowl Supertsar competition begins Monday, December 19.

You can register three ways:
- On-line at seniorbowl.com
- In-person at Senior Bowl Headquarters (151 Dauphin Street), Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm)

Contestants can be solo singers or groups of 6 or less.

The preliminary round of the Superstar competition will take place Saturday, January 7 at the Mobile Civic Center Theater.

The prelims will be broken up into two stages. During Stage 1, contestants will sing an a capella version of the National Anthem. Eight semi-finalists will be selected to sing it again. The top 3 will perform the National Anthem live on WKRG News 5 This Morning on January 10-13. Viewers will choose the winner by voting on wkrg.com and seniorbowl.com.

The winner, which will be announced January 16 live on WKRG News 5 This Morning, will sing the National Anthem at the Senior Bowl on January 28 at Ladd Peebles Stadium. They will also receive a VIP package that includes tickets to the game, passes to the pre-game Tailgate Party and hospitality tent passes.
