Bentley Not Backing Down On Immigration Law

Bentley Talks Immigration

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley talks to reporters once again about Alabama's controversial immigration law.

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley says he's not surprised the U-S Supreme Court is reviewing Arizona's immigration law- but that doesn't mean he's going to repeal the law here.

Bentley and the state of Alabama have been criticized by civil rights groups who have called the immigration law racist and unconstitutional. But Bentley isn't backing down.

Bentley says the law could be "tweaked"...but not repealed.

"If you live in this state, you have to do it legally, and you're going to have to hire legal workers, that is not going to change," says Bentley. "There's nothing unkind or unjust asking people to hire legal workers, so people need to obey the law."
