Prichard police have arrested two teenagers for the death of Sam Richardson.
Richardson was shot and killed at his barber shop two days before Thanksgiving. Police initially said he was beaten to death.
Police say 19 year old Brodrick Brown and 17 year old Andrew Amsion went to the barber shop to rob Richardson and shot him at least once.
Both suspects denied any role in the robbery to News 5 as they were taken from police headquarters to Metro Jail.
"I'm innocent," Brown said. "I'm innocent."
Amison said "Man I ain't killed nobody. My grandma taught me better than that."
Police say one of the suspects confessed to the crime and told them what happened. But they won't say which one
Richardson's family says news of the arrests is bitter sweet.
"I'm very thankful that they have been caught," said Richardson's daughter Samantha. "But it doesn't bring my father back."
Police say there could be a third suspect.
